Aim: This study qualitatively examines the representation of long-distance relationships on Instagram, analyzing how these relationships are portrayed through posts and captions.Method: Using a qualitative approach and Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis method, a total of 740 Instagram posts related to long-distance relationships were initially identified. These posts were collected through a snowball sampling method using specific hashtags. Following a systematic screening process, promotional, non-personal, and irrelevant posts were excluded to focus on real-life experiences, resulting in a final dataset of 182 posts. Selection criteria required posts to contain images of individuals or handwritten messages in Persian, explicitly related to long-distance relationships. The selected images and captions were carefully analyzed and coded. Results: The thematic analysis identified four main themes: (1) Expression of Love and Affection, (2) Planning for the Future, (3) Capturing Special Moments in Long-Distance Relationships, and (4) Waiting and Longing. Findings indicate that Instagram serves as an effective tool for maintaining and strengthening long-distance relationships. Users actively utilize this platform to express emotions, cope with longing, and plan future reunions. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the role of social media, particularly Instagram, in shaping and understanding long-distance relationships. The research specifically identifies relationship patterns within a Persian-language digital context and can be compared with studies conducted in other languages to provide a broader understanding of digital media’s influence. The findings offer valuable insights for psychologists, family counselors, and social science researchers, providing strategies to enhance emotional communication in long-distance relationships.
The role of cognitive flexibility and cognitive emotion regulation in predicting social anxiety in university students(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Aim: Social anxiety disorder is a common problem in the field of mental health, one of its characteristic features is the fear of negative and positive evaluation by others. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of cognitive flexibility and cognitive emotion regulation in predicting social anxiety of university students.
Method: The research population included all female students from bachelor's degree to doctorate studying in Shahid Beheshti University, and 250 of these students responded to the online questionnaire related to the research. The method of the current research was correlation and multiple regression analysis, and in order to collect data from three cognitive flexibility questionnaires by Dennis et al. (2010), the questionnaire of cognitive emotion regulation strategies of Garnefsky and Kraaij (2006) and the Leibowitz LSAS social anxiety scale (1987) used.
Results: The obtained results showed that the correlation of cognitive flexibility and cognitive emotion regulation with students' social anxiety was significant (0.05). The current study emphasizes that students who have poor emotional flexibility in social and functional situations and use only one method to solve a problem, and on the other hand, due to the high tension of that situation, have limited access to cognitive regulation of emotions.
Conclusions: Finally, these factors can predict social anxiety in them. The results of this finding can be used by psychologists, counselors and other people who are in contact with students to help improve the symptoms of social anxiety in them by using treatments focused on these concepts.

Aim: This article explores the cognitive operations of the mind, examining components such as basic cognitive systems, cognitive distortion, thinking, memory, perception, feelings, and emotions. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding of how these elements interact and their roles in information processing. Method: By analyzing each cognitive component, we aim to clarify the complex mechanisms of human thought and behavior. Our conscious experience evolves alongside the development of cognitive faculties, and as these faculties improve, our capacity for rational thought and conscious awareness increases. Finding: This study investigates the processes involved in the formation of logical patterns in the human mind, as well as the mechanisms underlying the emergence of cognitive distortion. Results: Cognitive distortion can significantly impact our perceptions and judgments, leading to inaccurate decisions. Recognizing and understanding these cognitive biases such as the availability heuristic, anchoring effect, and self-serving bias are crucial for enhancing critical thinking and decision-making skills. By fostering a greater awareness of our cognitive limitations, we can strive for more objective analyses in our interactions with the world, ultimately improving both our personal and collective decision-making outcomes. Conclusion: Conscious experience is essential for enhancing logical abilities by shaping cognitive processes through sensory input and interactions. It enriches reasoning with creativity and empathy, allowing our understanding of the mind to evolve as we gather new information.
The mediating role of positive and negative religious coping strategies in the relationship between psychological capital and the ability of forgiveness on family strengths(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Aim: The family is the most basic and durable social-emotional unit that plays an important role in the entire development of a person and establishes her personality. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the mediating role of religious coping strategies in the relationship between psychological capital and the ability to forgive with family strength. Method: The research method is descriptive and correlation type, which was done using structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the research was all married employees with children in the executive bodies of Rasht; 400 people (200 men and 200 women) were randomly selected. To collect data, Pargament et al.'s religious coping strategies, Luthans' psychological capital, Ray's forgiveness, colleagues' questionnaires, and Sham et al.'s family strength scale were used. SPSS26 and AMOS24 software were used for data analysis and model fitting, and the bootstrap method in the MACRO program was used by Preacher and Hayes to investigate the role of mediating variables. Results: The research results showed that the proposed research model has a favorable fit. Psychological capital(P=0.001, β=0.155)  and the ability to forgive(P=0.003, β=0.139) have a direct effect on family strength, and Psychological capital(P=0.001, β=0.0745) and the ability to forgive(P=0.006, β=0.0655)  have an indirect effect on family empowerment through positive religious coping strategy. Also, a negative religious coping strategy does not mediate the relationship between psychological capital(P=0.210, β=0.0169) and the ability to forgive(P=0.0144, β=0.396) with family empowerment. Conclusion: Therefore, this conceptual model can be used in the process of family counseling interventions and couple therapy to improve the quality of life as well as the strength of the family

Aim: The experience of failure and rejection of emotional relationships is considered a traumatic and fundamental problem in patients with bipolar disorder. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of intervention based on coping with emotional failure in promoting distress tolerance of bipolar patients.
Method: The present study was quasi-experimental with a pre-test/post-test design and follow-up with a control group. The study population included all patients with bipolar disorder in Zanjan City in 2022 among them, 30 people were selected by convenience sampling, and they were randomly divided into experimental and control groups after matching based on demographic variables. The Experimental group received 10 1-hour sessions of the protocol of coping with love trauma, and the control group did not receive training. The questionnaires on distress tolerance assessed the participants in three stages: pre-test, post-test, and follow-up (Simons & Gaher, 2005). Data were analyzed by ANOVA with repeated measure test.
Result: The results showed the effectiveness of the intervention based on coping with emotional failure in increasing the distress tolerance of the experimental group compared to the control group in the post-test and follow-up stages (P <0.01).
Conclusion: The present protocol can facilitate the process of coping with emotional failure and managing its consequences by dealing with transdiagnostic factors such as emotional avoidance, rumination, and other factors. In addition to reducing the likelihood of recurrence or exacerbation of the disorder, it can be used as one of the adjuvant, supportive, and rehabilitation interventions along with drug therapies to rehabilitate and improve their quality of life.

Introduction: Mobile phone addiction with negative psychological consequences is influenced by academic and family problems. The present study aimed to determine the mediating role of academic procrastination in the relationship between original family health and mobile phone addiction in high school female students. Method: The study employed a descriptive-correlational research approach utilizing a structural equation model. The statistical population of this research was all female students in the second year of high school in District 6 of Tehran. Among them, 200 students were recruited by random multi-stage cluster sampling, and they completed the Family of Origin Scale (1985) Academic Procrastination Scale (2000), and Mobile Phone Addiction Scale (2014). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS.21 and Amos.23 software according to the structural equation model. Findings: Results indicated a significant direct negative impact of family health (β = -0.51, p < 0.001) and a direct positive effect of academic procrastination (β = -0.58, p < 0.001) on students' mobile phone addiction. Furthermore, academic procrastination was found to act as a mediator in the association between family health and mobile phone addiction (β = -0.16, p < 0.001). Conclusion: The model demonstrated a strong fit. The mediating role of academic procrastination in the relationship between original family health and mobile phone addiction is a good model for explaining mental injuries and applying it in the field of preventing academic and behavioral problems in students.

Objective: The purpose of this research was the effectiveness of Imago Therapy on love styles and communication problems of married women. Methods: The research design was quasi-experimental with pre-test post-test control group. The statistical population of this study consisted of all women attending counseling centers in Alborz province in 2022. Since the research method was semi-experimental, 76 married women volunteered to participate in the study through availability sampling. After completing the Love Scale questionnaires (Hatfield & Sprecher, 1986) and the Queendom Communication Skills Questionnaire (CSTR), those who obtained the lowest averages on these two questionnaires were selected using simple random sampling (30 individuals, 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group). The data analysis in this research was conducted in the inferential statistics section, taking into account the nature of the study and the distance of the scale of the dependent variables. The parametric analysis of covariance test was used in the SPSS-22 software environment. Results: Findings showed that the value of F resulting from the analysis of covariance of multiple variables (Wilks Lambda=0.347.0, 2=653, P=0.001, F (25 and 2) =23.56) is significant. This indicates that the implementation of Imago Therapy has had a significant effect on communication skills and passionate love. Conclusions: Based on this, the hypothetical test concluded that Imago Therapy affects the styles of love and communication issues of married women.
