چکیده
این مقاله به تحول دموکراسی و رابطه تأثیر سوءاستفاده های درون نظام های سیاسی بر فرآیندهای انتخاباتی می پردازد و اینکه پیشرفت تاریخی سیستم های انتخابات پارلمانی در سراسر جهان چه حساسیتی را بر می انگیزاند. برای انجام این کار از روش تحلیل تطبیقی سیستم های مختلف انتخابات پارلمانی، ازجمله نظام های اکثریتی، تناسبی و مختلط استفاده شده تا آسیب پذیری آن ها را در برابر دست کاری و سوءاستفاده ارزیابی کند. همچنین به بررسی پیامدهای منافع اقتصادی بر تصمیم گیری قانون گذاری پرداخته شده که به طور بالقوه اصول دموکراتیک را تضعیف می کند. سؤال اصلی مقاله این است که آیا برخی از سیستم های انتخابات پارلمانی نسبت به سایرین مستعد بهره کشی هستند و متعاقباً بر جهت دموکراسی تأثیر می گذارند؟ این مقاله به تحولات دموکراسی اشاره کرده، راه حل های بالقوه را ترسیم می کند و یک سیستم انتخاباتی مبتنی بر تخصص را به عنوان راه حلی مناسب برای تقویت شیوه های دموکراتیک و درعین حال مهار نفوذ نخبگان اقتصادی در فرآیندهای قانون گذاری معرفی می کند.Democracy at a Crossroads: The Abuse of Electoral Systems

It explores the historical development of parliamentary election systems worldwide, considering their susceptibility to manipulation and abuse. The study employs a comparative analysis of different parliamentary election systems, including majority, proportional, and mixed systems, to assess their vulnerabilities. Furthermore, the article examines the influence of economic interests on legislative decision-making, potentially undermining democratic principles. The central question addressed in this article is whether certain parliamentary election systems are more susceptible to manipulation than others, and how they consequently affect the trajectory of democracy. The article references democratic developments, proposes potential solutions, and introduces an expertise-based electoral system as a suitable approach to strengthen democratic mechanisms while mitigating the influence of economic elites in legislative processes.
