چکیده
یُعنى هذا البحث بدراسه المسافه التواصلیّه من منظور علم النفس، وهو مفهوم یشیر إلى الفجوات النفسیّه والعاطفیّه التی تتشکل بین الأفراد نتیجه العوائق الذهنیّه، والمخاوف، والتجارب السابقه، مما یؤثر على جوده التفاعلات البشریّه. تبرز المسافه التواصلیّه کأداه حیویّه فی تصمیم الحبکه الروائیّه وتطویر الشخصیّات، حیث تُسهم فی إبراز الصراعات الداخلیّه وتعقید العلاقات. تؤخذ روایه «طابق 99» لجنى فواز الحسن کنموذج تحلیلی، حیث تُبنى علاقات الشخصیّات الرئیسه على أساس هذه المسافات التواصلیّه التی تُشکل أنماطا سلوکیّه معقده تُعزز التوترات النفسیّه والاجتماعیّه. یهدف البحث إلى تحلیل ونقد هذه الفجوات التواصلیّه، مسلطا الضوء على کیفیه تأثیرها فی تشکیل الأزمات الدرامیّه والنفسیّه للشخصیّات. اعتمد البحث على منهج تحلیلیّ نفسیّ مرکزا على التفاعلات بین الشخصیّات فی سیاقات حرجه. أظهرت النتائج أن المسافه التواصلیّه فی روایه «طابق 99» تتجلّى فی علاقه مجد وهیلدا، حیث یعانی کلاهما من صدمات نفسیّه ناجمه عن الحرب اللبنانیّه. تتسبب هذه الصدمات فی خلق حواجز عاطفیّه تمنعهما من التواصل العمیق، فمجد، بوصفه فلسطینیّا، یواجه تحدیات الهویّه، بینما تعانی هیلدا من فقدان عائلتها. تتجلّى هذه الفجوات فی لحظات القرب الجسدیّ التی تخلو من الارتباط العاطفیّ، مما یبرز تناقضات نفسیّه. تُفاقم المسافه شعورهما بالعزله، مما یُعزز الصراعات الداخلیّه ویسهم فی تصویر واقعیّ لتعقیدات العلاقات الإنسانیه فی سیاق الحرب، مقدما رؤیه عمیقه لتأثیر المسافات على النفسیّه فی العالم المعاصر.Communicative Distance as a Psychological Tool in Character Construction: A Study of Jana Fawaz Elhassan's The 99th Floor
This study explores the concept of communicative distance from a psychological perspective, defined as the psychological and emotional gaps that emerge between individuals due to mental barriers, fears, and past experiences, which significantly influence the quality of human interactions. Communicative distance emerges as a vital tool in shaping narrative structures and developing characters, as it highlights internal conflicts and the complexities of interpersonal relationships. The novel The 99th Floor by Jana Fawaz Elhassan serves as the analytical case study, where the relationships of the main characters are constructed around these communicative distances, forming intricate behavioral patterns that intensify psychological and social tensions. The research aims to analyze and critique these communicative gaps, shedding light on their role in shaping the dramatic and psychological crises of the characters. Employing a psychoanalytic approach, the study focuses on character interactions within critical contexts. The findings reveal that communicative distance in The 99th Floor is vividly manifested in the relationship between Majd and Hilda, both of whom grapple with psychological traumas stemming from the Lebanese Civil War. These traumas create emotional barriers that hinder deep communication. Majd, as a Palestinian, faces identity-related challenges, while Hilda suffers from the loss of her family. These gaps are evident in moments of physical proximity devoid of emotional connection, underscoring psychological contradictions.
