چکیده
جُنگ ها و مجموعه های کهن، منابعی ارزشمند در پژوهش های ادبی و فرایند تصحیح متون به شمار می آیند؛ چرا که بسیاری از اشعار و متون پراکنده در دل این آثار حفظ شده اند و گاه نسخه هایی منحصر به فرد از متون کهن را در اختیار قرار می دهند. با این حال، اعتماد بیش از اندازه به این منابع، بدون بررسی میزان دقّت و اصالت آنها، می تواند به تحریف متن اصلی بینجامد. جُنگ ها معمولاً حاصل گردآوری های شخصی اند و ممکن است با اشتباهات یا دخالت های سلیقه ای و دخل و تصرّف های نسخه برداران یا گردآورندگان همراه باشند؛ از این رو، در بهره گیری از جُنگ ها و مجموعه های کهن، باید همواره با دقّت و احتیاط عمل کرد و آنها را با عنوان منابع کمکی در نظر گرفت. تنها از رهگذر چنین رویکردی است که می توان به متنی نزدیک به متن اصلی دست یافت و اعتبار علمی تصحیح را حفظ کرد.How Reliable Are Manuscript Anthologies (jungs)?

However, placing excessive trust in such sources without scrutinizing their accuracy and authenticity can lead to distortions of the original text. Jungs are typically the result of private compilations and may contain errors, subjective interventions, or alterations by copyists or compilers. Therefore, it is essential to approach jungs and similar old collections with careful attention and caution, treating them primarily as auxiliary sources. Only through such an approach can one approximate the original text and safeguard the scholarly integrity of the edition.
