Carrying Capacity in Tourism and its Measurement Methods(مقاله پژوهشی دانشگاه آزاد)
حوزههای تخصصی:
Tourism, like any activity, leaves different effects, and sometimes it has left irreparable natural and human damage in tourism areas. Each tourist site has a certain capacity to attract tourists according to its potential and if these limits and thresholds are exceeded, the negative effects of tourism will appear. The increasing development of tourism and the increase in the number of tourists during the past decades have had irreparable consequences for tourism destinations. In the meantime, nature tourism destinations have been damaged more than other attractions due to their fragile nature and the high attention of tourists. This issue has drawn the attention of managers and officials to managing visitors and reducing the effects of these visits. In recent years, various techniques have been presented to manage the effects of visitors, and one of these tools is "carrying capacity". The carrying capacity determines the limits that by crossing it, the destroyed resources or the damage to the ecosystem becomes irreparable.

Forecasting Alisadr Cave Tourism Demand using Combination of Short-term and Log-terms Forecasts(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
Nowadays, the tourism industry has become one of the most important sectors in the world economy. Due to the perishability of this industry, accurate forecasting of the demand is very important for tourism planning and resource allocation. Studies show that due to the diversity and complexity of the factors affecting tourism demand, the combination of different approaches may increase the forecasting accuracy. The aim of this paper is to forecast the tourism demand of Alisadr cave. For this purpose, a method based on artificial neural networks is presented, in which the results of linear and non-linear methods and short-term and long-term forecasts are combined. This method is applied to a dataset of Alisadr cave tourists. The evaluation results show that in most cases, the proposed combined method can predict the tourism demand with higher accuracy than the monthly and seasonal methods based on neural networks and random forest models. The predictive models obtained from this study can enhance customer service and improve the interaction between users and tourist ticketing web applications and online reservation programs.

حوزههای تخصصی:
Background: Sport heritage is increasingly being recognized as a potent instigator of tourism. The convergence of heritage, sport and tourism involves many different and diverse fields, including sport tourism, heritage tourism, sport management.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to identify the effective factors on the development of heritage sports tourism with an interpretive structural modeling approach (ISM).
Materials and Methods: The present research is applied, qualitative and analytical in terms of nature and purpose, data retrieval, and data analysis method, respectively based on interpretive structural modeling. Data collection tools in this study were library studies, interview and questionnaire based on interpretive structural modeling. In order to identify the factors affecting the development of heritage sports tourism, with the collective agreement of experts and reviewing the research literature, 16 factors affecting the development of heritage sports tourism were identified.
Results: According to the third step of the ISM method, the effective factors on the development of heritage sports tourism were classified into 7 levels and the political and governmental dimensions along with the rule of law were at the lowest level of the model (seventh level); these are prioritized in terms of implementation over other dimensions. As a result, officials and managers in the field of tourism and sports tourism should pay special attention to these dimensions in order to provide the ground for the emergence and realization of other dimensions at higher levels of the model. Finally, based on the analysis matrix of influence and dependence, it was determined that the political and governmental dimensions, rule of law, management and supportive factors are among the influence factors; economic dimensions, socio-cultural factors, infrastructure and welfare services, education and research, specialized human resources, technology, heritage sports tourism attractions, heritage, marketing and information and international relations are among the linking factors; and the dimensions of safety and security, complementary attractions and sporting events are among the dependent factors in this research.
Conclusion: According to the results of the model, for the development of heritage sports tourism, there must be a serious determination. In this regard, the policies of a nation must be progressive, and in the first step, government with a decisive role must provide the infrastructure.

حوزههای تخصصی:
Understanding tourist behavior is a requirement for marketing planning for the supply of goods and services to satisfy tourists. Nowadays, many tourists decide to travel to any place by searching through internet explorers. The present study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the behavior of tourists in Iran based on data mining (search rate on Google Trend). The research is applied and has been done with a causal descriptive method. The method of collecting data is by searching keywords on Google. . To collect the keywords needed for the research, we had to turn to the experts and authorities on the field as well as the relevant scientific articles. The process of data collection is that a series of key words in tourism were selected and accordingly, it was determined how much people used these words in different places in Iran. Correlation matrix (covariance) model has been used for data analysis. In this research, the structural information of these keywords was obtained and edited based on the keywords related to tourism extracted from Google Trend by time series and with the help of Pearson correlation matrix. Nine keywords were selected for search, including hotel, entertainment, pilgrimage, tourism, nature, places of interest, archeology, travel and travel tour. The keywords are not searched at random, but they are related and correlated and stem from a structural thinking. The results of the data analysis have shown the type and intensity of connections between the words that had a communication structure. It was also found that the words pilgrimage, recreation, and archeology have less connection with other words.
Dynamics of Tourism and Economic Growth in the Oil-Exporting Economies: A Tri-Variate Causality(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
حوزههای تخصصی:
The causality between tourism growth and economic growth would not be very accurate regardless of the environmental factors affecting them such as the oil revenues. The present study investigates the effects of oil revenues on the causality between them, to present the difference between the two variables in oil-exporting countries. We examined the causal relationship using Dumitrescu and Hurlin’s model (2012) and the trivariate method in 9 oil-exporting countries from 1996 to 2019. The results show a one-way causal relationship between economic growth and tourism promotion in two variate causality but no relationship was found between them in trivariate. However, one-way causality is weakened when oil revenues are introduced. The causality of economic growth is not confirmed in the presence of oil revenues, as the causal relationship in the two-variable test is affected by the abundance of oil revenues.

China’s Sustainable Tourism and Output Growth: A Policy Modelling Study(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)
حوزههای تخصصی:
China has become the world’s high-growth and second largest economy since its socialist- orientation opening-up reforms in the early 1980s. Due also to its geographical, cultural and historical attractions, the country has become the world’s fourth largest tourism destination and tenth largest tourism earner in 2018 according to the World Tourist Organization. The important role played by tourism in the Chinese economy has been officially recognized by China’s National Development and Reform Commission as a strategic pillar industry development priority. In spite of these, rigorous policy-related studies on China’s tourism have been limited. The paper is a serious econometric study to investigate the determination of China’s tourism and its contribution to the country during the period 1996-2018 for credible data-based policy analysis. Significantly, the study is carried out appropriately from an economic integration (globalization) growth framework, which is also the expenditure (as opposed to production or income) perspective of the United Nations System of National Accounts 1998/2003. Specifically, a multi-simultaneous equation model of endogenous growth and China’s tourism determination is developed. The model innovatively incorporates gravity theory and classical consumer demand contributors, Ironmonger-Lancaster new commodity attributes and Johansen policy impact add- and sub-factors (i.e., reforms and crises) explicitly in its economic integration structure. The model is then estimated by system methods with official economic and tourism 1996-2018 data from the World Tourism Organization and international databases. The research will contribute to advances in the literature and the findings provide useful insights and appropriate and much needed evidence-based inputs on the determination and contributors of tourism to China’s growth. Recommendations will be provided to key stake-holders such as tourism policy-makers, academic researchers, business analysts and tourism operators for national strategic policy analysis and practical implementation.
