چکیده
موضوع این نوشته، لقبی ایرانی در عبارتی از سرود سریانی معروف به نام سرود مروارید است. این لقب که معادل لفظِ پساگریو در نوشته های مانویان به فارسی میانه است، معنایی نزدیک به «ولی عهد» دارد. در ادامه خلاصه ای از آرای بعضی محقّقان درباره کلمه سارویه ترجمه شده و رأی ایلیا گرشویچ درباره سابقه نام تخت جمشید نیز به فارسی نقل گردیده است.An Arsacid Title in the Hymn of the Soul and a Note on the Etymology of Sarūya and the History of the Name “Takht-e Jamshīd”
The subject of this study is an Iranian title found in a phrase from the Syriac hymn known as the Hymn of the Pearl . This title, corresponding to the term pasāgriw in Middle Persian Manichaean texts, carries a meaning close to “heir apparent.” The article further presents a summary of scholarly opinions concerning the word Sārūya and provides the Persian translation of Ilya Gershevitch’s view on the historical background of the name Takht-e Jamshid (Persepolis).
