چکیده
زمینه و هدف: سینما نقش مهمی در فرهنگ سازی، سرگرمی و تفکر دارد و می تواند مسائل اجتماعی، سیاسی، فرهنگی و اقتصادی را در خود و جامعه مخاطب بازتاب دهد و همچنین به بازتولید ارزش های فرهنگ جامعه کمک نماید. این پژوهش سعی دارد زمینه های تغییر در بازنمایی مفاهیم جنسیتی در فیلم باربی را مورد مطالعه قرار دهد. روش و داده ها: این پژوهش با روش تحلیل محتوای کیفی، پیام های فرهنگی فیلم سینمایی «باربی» را به عنوان یکی از پرفروش ترین فیلم های سال 2023 مورد مطالعه قرارداده است. به منظور گردآوری اطلاعات، فیلم سینمایی چندین بار به صورت فردی و گروهی مشاهده شد و پس از پیاده سازی دیالوگ و روابط به تصویرکشیده شده در فیلم، دسته بندی و استخراج یافته ها انجام شد. یافته ها: نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که فیلم از طریق تقابل مفهوم قدرت با موضوعات سیاسی، اجتماعی، اقتصادی و فرهنگی، به ویژه بحران مردانگی و نمادهایی مانند اسب قهوه ای به عنوان نمادی از قدرت مردانه، پیام های مهمی را ارائه می دهد. همچنین فیلم از عناصر بصری و مفهومی برای برجسته کردن ایده باربی به عنوان نمادی ماندگار استفاده کرده و پیوستگی آن با ایجاد نظم نوین جهانی و احیای بازاریابی را نیز به تصویر می کشد. بحث و نتیجه گیری: تحلیل محتوای فیلم نشان داد که این اثر در ابعاد مختلف از جمله سیاسی، اقتصادی، فرهنگی، هویتی، اجتماعی و ایدئولوژیک پیام های قابل توجهی را در خود جای داده است. باتوجه به اینکه گاهی سینما تغییرات اجتماعی را پیش بینی می کند و گاهی تغییرات اجتماعی درسینما بازگویی می شود، پیام های نهفته درسینما حاوی رویکردهای جدیدی است و ظرفیت های متفاوتی در بازنمایی کلیشه های جنسیتی و نگاه خیره مردانه ایجاد کرده و به احیای فرهنگ و سنت های آمریکایی با تأکید بر مؤلفه جذابیت کمک می کنند. این فیلم برخی تغییرات اجتماعی را بازنمایی می کند وگاها هدفمند آینده اجتماعی و سیاسی را از منظر روابط قدرت و جنسیت تفهیم می نماید. پیام اصلی: نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که سازندگان باربی علاوه بر این که از ظرفیت باربی برای انتشار مفاهیم فرهنگی آمریکایی بهره برده اند، اما با در نظرگیری اقتضائات و تحولات فکری دنیای جدید، سعی دارند بازنمایی مفهومی باربی به گونه ای باشد که با نگرش های دنیای جدید سازگار باشد.The Changing Context of Gender Representation from Culture to Politics: A Content Analysis of the Barbie Movie
Background and Aim: Cinema plays a significant role in shaping culture, providing entertainment, and fostering thought. It can reflect social, political, cultural, and economic issues within its narrative and to its audience, while also contributing to the reproduction of societal cultural values. This research aims to investigate the changes in the representation of gender concepts through the content presented in the movie Barbie. Data and Method: This research examines the cultural messages conveyed in Barbie, recognized as one of the best-selling movies of 2023, through a qualitative content analysis method. To gather data, the film was watched multiple times individually and in group settings. Following the transcription of the dialogue and the depiction of relationships within the film, the findings were categorized and extracted. Findings: The results indicate that the film conveys important messages by contrasting the concept of power with political, social, economic, and cultural issues, particularly the crisis of masculinity and through symbols such as the brown horse, representing male power. The film also employs visual and conceptual elements to emphasize Barbie's enduring symbolic status, illustrating its connection to establishing a new world order and the resurgence of marketing. Conclusion: The content analysis of the film reveals that it encompasses significant messages across various dimensions, including political, economic, cultural, identity-related, social, and ideological aspects. Given that cinema sometimes anticipates social changes and at other times reflects them, the implicit messages within the film offer new perspectives and create diverse capacities in the representation of gender stereotypes and the male gaze, thereby contributing to the revival of American culture and traditions with an emphasis on the component of attractiveness. The film portrays certain social changes and occasionally purposefully communicates the social and political future from the perspective of power and gender relations. Key Message: The research results showed that the creators of Barbie are not only utilizing Barbie's capacity to disseminate American cultural concepts but are also trying, by considering the requirements and intellectual developments of the new world, to conceptually represent Barbie in a way that aligns with contemporary perspectives.
