چکیده
واقع گرایی کورنل به موج جدید طبیعت گرایی اخلاقی متعلق است. آن چیزی که واقع گرایی کورنل را از دیگر مکاتب طبیعت گرایی متمایز می کند موضع ضد فروکاست گرایانه این دیدگاه در مورد واقعیات اخلاقی است. هدف ما در این جستار بررسی معنی شناسی این مکتب فکری بر پایه آرای شاخص ترین چهره آن در این زمینه، ریچارد بوید است. تلاش می کنیم تا نشان دهیم معنی شناسی ارائه شده توسط بوید هم استدلال پرسش گشوده مور بر ضد طبیعت گرایان را بی اثر می کند و هم دفاعی از واقع گرایی اخلاقی در برابر رویکردهای نسبی گرایانه برساختی در فرااخلاق به دست می دهد. در حین بررسی استدلال بوید، لوازم و پیش فرض های موردنیاز وی همچون مفهوم نوع طبیعی، اینهمانی های مصداقی و یا نشانگر جزئی و هم ارجاعی را موردبحث و بررسی قرار خواهیم داد.A Study on the Semantics of Cornell Realism based on Richard Boyd’s View
Cornell realism belongs to the new wave movements in ethical naturalism debates. What distinguishes Cornell realism from other ethical naturalism is that the thesis adopts an anti-reductionist approach towards ethical facts. Our aim in this paper is to consider the thesis based on Richard Boyd’s views who is the most well-known defender of the thesis. We try to show that Boyd’s proposal on the semantics of ethical terms can defuse both Moore’s open-question argument and constructivist relativism arguments. Along with considering Boyd’s thesis, we will consider the required premises of his argument like the idea of the natural kind, extensional identities, co-referentiality, and partial denotation.
