چکیده
انرژی به عنوان یک متغیر ژئواستراتژیک، جایگاه ویژه ای را در روابط قدرت در نظام جهانی معاصر باز کرده و دسترسی به منابع انرژی برای تمامی سطوح سلسله مراتبی قدرت جهان، اهمیتی استراتژیک پیدا کرده است. از این روی، هر یک از بازیگران نظام جهانی به دنبال تعریفی معقول از جایگاه انرژی خود در جهان می باشند. لذا ایران در پرتو توانمندی های چشمگیرش در حوزه انرژی، یک کانون تولید و مصرف و توزیع انرژی به شمار می آید. در این میان ایران با واقع شدن در مرکز بیضی استراتژیک انرژی جهان و با در دست داشتن دومین منابع نفت خام و گاز طبیعی جهان، از جایگاه مهمی در زمینه تحولات انرژی جهانی برخوردار است. این پژوهش بر آن است که با روشی توصیفی - تحلیلی و با تکیه بر داده های آمارهای منتشر شده معتبر جهان به پرسش اصلی مقاله بر این موضوع تاکید دارد که: «در چشم انداز جهانی عرضه و تقاضای نفت و گاز، جایگاه انرژی ایران بر مبنای آمارهای ارائه شده از سوی مراکز مختلف چگونه ارزیابی می شود؟» فرضیه مقاله معطوف به گزاره امری است که بر مبنای آمار ارائه شده از سوی مراکز مختلف، چشم انداز جهانی عرضه و تقاضای نفت و گاز را بر اساس تشدید رقابت بر سر منابع انرژی و جایگاه ایران را نیز علیرغم تحریم های اعمال شده از سوی کشورهای غربی، همچون گذشته حائز اهمیت بسزایی در میزان ذخایر، تولید و انتقال انرژی جهان قلمداد می نماید.Global Perspective on Oil and Gas Supply and Demand and Iran's Geostrategic Position
